Why does it seem as if this generation is so easy to give up?
Is it because we’ve put our energy in so many things before and now realize they no longer have any benefit to us now?
Or is it because of lack of patience and faith?
I think we assume things are always as simple as they may seem in our head.
Recently I’ve kept a lot of things I’m working on to myself simply because I feel when you speak on things too soon you ruin what it may have became. Don’t block your own blessings running your mouth.
Sometimes we are in so much of a rush to see the praise for our projects that we rush the developmental stages and put out incomplete work.
My graphic design teacher in high school had this phrase that she’d always say when we tried to submit an assignment any kind of way to her, “where the rest of it at?”
First impressions are everything, not too many times will you get another chance to woo someone and win their attention again.
Patience is virtue.
Be patient and have faith that your work will pay off.
Stop thinking because someone else can make 3 years worth of work seem as if it was done in 3 days that you have to make the same statement.
Ride your own wave, stop looking every which way trying to see what everyone have and have tunnel vision on your own path.
Social media creates this illusion that the world can be handed to you overnight, and that’s just not realistic. Stop thinking you will find an easy way out, WORK YOUR ASS OFF.
Don’t be afraid of working hard. There are no handouts, it’s up to you to go out and get everything you want.
Stop putting your future in the hands of everyone, but yourself. Giving up is never the option. If one person turns down your idea then go back into the lab and make it 10x better, then come back and try again.
Be persistent.
Stop allowing your life to be a list of things that could have been.
Do what you can for as long as you can, and when you finally can’t, do the next best thing. You may back up, but you don’t give up.
