Everyone needs an outlet. I actually created this blog website because I needed a way to let everything out that I kept inside for so long.
Stop holding everything in. All you’re doing is creating a walking time bomb waiting to go off.
It’s ok to open up and talk about things
My first steps would be to speak with God.
Don’t think this means talking to yourself, but genuinely open up your mouth and talk to God about your issues and watch him take the stress off you. Stop running your mouth to that friend that can’t hold water and expecting them to fix your problems… ok
Also stop allowing yourself to relapse because it’s what’s cool at the moment, protect yourself from yourself. If you know you’re a drug addict, stop going places where you’ll be around drugs. Don’t isolate yourself, but do be cautious of your surroundings.
You can’t expect to make change sitting in your problem.
Take the steps you need to improve yourself. Stop thinking about what others think so much, do ya own damn thang and stunt on your haters. People always will judge you for who they knew you to be, not who you’re becoming.
Your opinion is not law
How do you want to be better, but every time someone says something to you, you catch an attitude? Stop thinking just because you know yourself best that no one else can help improve you. Be open to criticism. Proverbs 15:31 ” If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise.” Nobody is perfect, we all have room for improvement. Don’t be so quick to talk and listen for once.
Be patient, your time is coming…
Stop feeling like when something goes wrong in your life the world is about to end. If you’re still struggling then God is telling you to stay down and keep your faith that everything will work out. God won’t put you through anything you can’t handle, but then again don’t go blaming God when you put yourself in situations he gave you plenty of outlets to escape.
keep a strong support system
Remove all yes men from around you and put some people that care about you around you. You don’t need someone that’s gonna tell you that you’re right all the time, get some people that are not scared to say something even if it may hurt your feelings. Also, stop having a support system and never ask them for support. That’s why you feel as if no one is there for you. When someone needs help they won’t hesitate to call you, but when you need help you feel everyone should be able to look at you and know something is wrong. Closed mouths don’t get fed. I watched a Steve Jobs interview earlier today and he said the thing most people never do is ask for help. Use your resources, stop feeling like if you ask for help you’re any less of the person you were before.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (I’m gonna make you look this one up)
