You know the saying “right person, wrong time”? Well, I’m about to tear that apart in a few short passages and show you a new perspective to try looking out of.
I recently read the book “Mastery of Love” and in it, it said that “You are lucky if you find the right woman for you and at the same time you are the right man for her.”
Several times in my life I came across women where I felt they were what I wanted from someone I’d like to date and grow with, but I would soon realize that I wasn’t who I should’ve been in order to either keep them or gain their attention. Let me break it down some more…
Have you ever wondered why when people sell their souls they get exactly what they asked for? If you asked to get a million dollars you have it, but what the fine print may have not told you is that you also are being sued for two million dollars for whatever reason. Now in the devil’s defense, he did give you exactly what you asked for, but what you thought you signed up for was not all that came with that deal.
I realized that a lot of times God detours us from some of our own desires because we often become fueled by our own selfish desires. We are the root of 99.9% of our problems. We ask for signs and when they are given to us we pretend to not see it and ask for another sign even though the first one was clear as day. God saves us and gives us time to properly grow into the person we need to become to be able to hold on to our blessing for a long time.
You didn’t get that example either, huh? Alright, let me dumb it down some more for you. No one is ever the “right person wrong time” for you because in every situation you are revealed something about yourself that you may have never seen if that person never came into your life. I tend to look at life as a daily classroom. Each day something will happen to me that will either cause me to learn something new about myself or cause me to run away from the person I have the potential to be.
Life is all about how you manage the cards you were dealt and how you plan on getting a new and better hand by the end of the game. See the value in every experience and grow throughout life. Accountability of our actions is the only way to move forward in life without grudges.
Keep your eyes open for what you can learn from anyone you come across, you don’t meet people for no reason…
